Torger Christian "Toto" Wolff is an Austrian billionaire motorsport executive, investor and former racing driver. He holds a 33% stake in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and is Team Principal and CEO of the team.

Toto Wolff, the boss of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, is not just known for being a great leader in the fast world of F1 racing, but also for his love of cool watches. He's got a smart head for business and has helped his team win a lot of races. The watches he chooses show his love for things that are well-made, work really well, and look good.

People who like watches and F1 racing often talk about Wolff's collection of watches. He likes IWC watches, just like Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, who drive for his team. They all wearing the same brand of watches shows they have something special in common, more than just racing. Well, I mean obviously the Mercedes team was supported by the IWC.

But seriously, I think the IWC watches match Toto's style.

So, now, let's find out more about Toto Wolff watch collection.

Toto Wolff Watch - IWC Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun IW502902

Toto Wolff Watch - IWC Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun IW502902

The first watch that we can see in Toto Wolff watch collection is the 48 mm IWC Perpetual Calendar Top Gun  IW502902.

This special watch has a crystal that's really hard to scratch, and it's 48mm wide. Plus, it can handle being in water up to 30 meters deep.

The watch's case is made of matte black ceramic, and the back part is titanium with the cool TOP GUN logo in color. There's also a titanium crown. All these materials make the watch super light, really tough, and easy on the skin.

Now, let's talk about the dial. It's matte black, which looks classy. The big white numbers show the hours, and there's a white track for minutes and hours with glow-in-the-dark marks at 12, 3, 6, and 9. The hands have black edges and glow in the dark too, making it easy to read the time, no matter the lighting.

Retail price: $36,000.

Toto Wolff Watch - IWC Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition 'Toto Wolff x Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team' IW503607

The second IWC watch in Toto Wolff watch collection is a special one, and it's not easy to get your hands on. It's called the IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Toto Wolff x Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team,” and only 100 of these were made in 2022.

Back in 2013, Toto Wolff, who is from Austria and used to be a racecar driver, became a part-owner and top boss of the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team. Under his leadership, the team won eight championships in a row from 2014 to 2021. With this new watch, IWC wanted to honor him by putting his name on it.

Now, let's talk about this Toto Wolff watch itself. It's called the IW503607, and it's a tough, bold, and super technical version of a watch many people already love, the Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar Top Gun Ceratanium. It's got a 46.2mm case made of a special titanium mix that's strong like ceramic.

The whole watch is black, including the rubber strap with a fabric part. Inside, there's a famous movement that can run for 7 days on its own. It also has a special calendar that shows the date, day, month, year (with all four digits), and even the moon phases for both the northern and southern hemispheres. It's packed with features, just like all IWC watches.

Retail price: $49,400.

Toto Wolff Watch - IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Edition 'Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team' IW388108

The watch that Toto, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell all have in their collections is the IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition 'Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team' IW388108. It's not surprising because this watch was made to celebrate the "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team." It's got a cool grade 5 titanium case, a black dial with Petronas green numbers, and a matching green rubber strap.

This watch is a bit special because it has a titanium case, it's automatic (meaning it winds itself as you wear it), and it's 41mm wide and 14.5mm thin. The dial is black and easy to read, especially in the dark thanks to the luminescent markings. The green rubber strap has an EasX-CHANGE system, and it's 20.0 mm wide.

What's really cool about this watch is that it's not a limited edition, and it's not just for the pitcrew members at Petronas. You can actually buy this IWC Pilot's Watch for yourself on their website. It's a great way to feel connected to the exciting world of Formula One!

Retail price: $8,350.

To complete the look, Toto pairs it with a comfortable black calfskin strap that's 21.0 mm wide. It's a watch that not only looks great but also reflects Toto Wolff's connection to the world of motorsport with the "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport" branding.

The IWC Pilot watch has a rich military history that speaks for itself. In the Watches & Wonders 2021 event, the Swiss manufacturer based in Schaffhausen introduced a groundbreaking timepiece, the Big Pilot’s Watch Shock Absorber XPL IW357201.

This remarkable creation is the inaugural product from the brand’s "Experimental Engineering Team," and it's engineered to withstand extreme shocks, capable of enduring forces exceeding 30,000G.

Encased within a 44mm Ceratanium case—a cutting-edge combination of titanium and ceramic known for its scratch-resistant and lightweight properties—this innovation relies on a patented SPRIN-g PROTECT system that shields the movement from impact. While spring-mounted movements are not entirely new, the performance claims made by IWC, corroborated by rigorous testing at the Cavendish Laboratory and the University of Cambridge, are truly astonishing, showcasing a shock resistance exceeding 30,000G.

Moreover, the watch's crystal is designed to remain securely in place even when subjected to rapid changes in air pressure, demonstrating the watch's resilience in the face of challenging conditions.

In the fast-paced world of Formula 1, where high-speed action and adrenaline-packed races rule the day, attention to detail matters, and it's not limited to the racetrack.
